I am convinced that my Turning Point facilitator was put into my life by God to show me the way of Jesus and the importance of His Word. I was inspired deeply. Turning Point is the most positive thing I have ever completed in my life.

I can't even begin to tell you how much better my life has become since I have become aware of the upward path to developing Christian character found in those precious verses contained in 2 Peter 1:3-11. Just being able to see those eight Christian traits in black and white helped me to apply them in my everyday life. The Word of God being alive in me-mind, body and soul-is a direct result of Turning Point.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to have taken Turning Point and so blessed to have learned how to apply what I've learned in my life. I guess that I can sum up where I am in life with a scripture. It is Proverbs 21:21. It says, "Anyone who wants to be godly and loving finds life, success and honor."(NIRV) Thank you, Father God, for the miracles that you have worked in my life! I have my family back in my life as a direct result of the life changes I've made with the encouragement I received from Turning Point. I have dealt with my life-controlling problem and am clean and sober. I have quit smoking cigarettes. I have stopped cursing. I have changed who I am. I may not be who I want to be. I may not be who I could be. But I thank Father God every day for not being who I used to be. I am truly a work in progress. So to answer the question of where am I in life... I'm in a much better place. In closing, I am a firm believer and a living example of Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Ryszard Paciocha writes:

I am really glad to send you some good reports from Poland. It is finished! Last weekend in Warsaw at the Third National Coffee House Conference I showed the first copy of Free to Grow. We now have 1,000 copies of Free to Grow in Polish! Also, Concerned Persons is translated. At the conference people contributed about 25% of the money we will need for the first printing.

A training seminar is planned for March to prepare people to lead the Insight, Free to Grow and Concerned Persons groups.

We are excited about the development of our outreach to children. Insight Group: Empowering Kids for brunson_jeanLife (for ages 8-11) is fast becoming a reality. The Insight curriculum was adapted by Jean Brunson and developed by Living Free at the request of Tom and Lois Lofton, who were urged by a request from Republic of South Africa to provide a curriculum for older primary grade school children. This is the group at high risk for drug addiction and child exploitation.

JC Bulldog with Jimmy, Louise, Lois and DanInsight Group, our first and still most-used curriculum, is for people who need help to stay free from life-controlling problems. We currently have a youth edition and look forward with great anticipation to having this children’s version available as well. The study guides participants in discovering the path to Christian character. In our current society, where the very fiber of morality seems to be decaying more and more rapidly, we believe it is vital to start teaching children these biblical truths at an early age. Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14 demonstrate how important these little ones are to him:

Today's Living Free News

Testimony from Rwanda

God does heal the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Read the following testimony we received today regarding today's Living Free Every Day devotion provided by Living Free ministries.

"Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you so much for the message of forgiveness. Jesus Christ recommend us to forgive if we want to be forgiven. For us Rwandans, we are experiencing forgiveness and now we are free from the bondage of unforgiveness. When you forgive, even physically, you are released. I am telling you this because I have forgiven those who killed my parents and relatives. But, ask to be led by the Holy Spirit who will enable you to forgive those who sin against you."

Blessings,

Jean de Dieu
