Fourteen participants attended a Living Free Faculty Training Workshop, which was held on July 19th and 20th, 2010, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Participation in the workshop is part of the process for one to become a certified trainer of Living Free.
It was exciting to have people present who are involved in a variety of ministries here in the United States and around the world. One woman attended the Living Free Faculty Training Workshop so that she could use Living Free in her own church and in a prison ministry she is involved in.
Two directors of Faith Bridge Foster Care in Alpharetta, Georgia, plan to use Living Free in ministering to biological and foster parents, and one of the current foster parents plans to use the Living Free material as well. Another attendee plans to use Living Free in a Teen Challenge ministry based in Swaziland. The director of Teen Challenge in Africa was also with us; his plans include training others so that more Teen Challenge ministries can be established in this area of the world. A missionary, who serves in Jordan, is looking forward to his opportunity to present the Living Free material to the Christians in Jordan.
We are so thankful that people want to be trained. It is a joy to be able to listen to the participants share their hearts and vision for the Living Free materials.
