Scripture and Structure Bring a Couple Closer Together

Ketola Please take the time to read this recent letter we received. We are so encouraged and thankful to see God touch people through Living Free.

We hope this person’s revelation blesses you.

"When I agreed to be the Living Free Coordinator at our church, my husband Bruce was quick to train and join me as co-leader, and even though only three people chose to continue to Insight Group, we pressed on, knowing how important consistency is to people in crisis. Plus, we were both gaining so much from our study. Although our marriage is sound and we thought we were yielded to Jesus Christ, each of us was actually holding back and leaning on our own understanding.

“We just don’t agree” had become an impasse which had grown into a wall over parenting, money, past sin, you name it. I believe our hearts were softened by Insight as we gained a framework for discussions. We learned our problems and poor coping are so common. And some of our problems are so unique only God can give us answers.

Training Arabic and Russian speaking churches

Recently, Petr Ministr (Teen Challenge Czech Republic Director) and Tom Bremer (Europe Teen Challenge Director) led Living Free leadership training in Jerusalem for Arabic speaking Christians and in the city of Ashkelon for Russian speaking Christians.

With the migration of people groups into Israel, there have been many who have brought their life-controlling problems with them. Many challenges are now being experienced by the Arabic and Russian-speaking Christian churches throughout the country.

Today's Living Free News

Testimony from Rwanda

God does heal the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Read the following testimony we received today regarding today's Living Free Every Day devotion provided by Living Free ministries.

"Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you so much for the message of forgiveness. Jesus Christ recommend us to forgive if we want to be forgiven. For us Rwandans, we are experiencing forgiveness and now we are free from the bondage of unforgiveness. When you forgive, even physically, you are released. I am telling you this because I have forgiven those who killed my parents and relatives. But, ask to be led by the Holy Spirit who will enable you to forgive those who sin against you."

Blessings,

Jean de Dieu
