The new Vida Libre Ministry Kit (the new Spanish version of Living Free) is now available.

Using Vida Libre, your church or ministry can unleash a new kind of group leader-one who understands how tough life can be, but also knows the hope and freedom found in Christ.

Hosted by Hector Escobar-Associate Pastor of Trinity Church International in Lake Worth, Florida-this dynamic DVD training helps participants learn how and why life-controlling problems develop...and how they can help others caught in their trap.

Godly Parenting Used in Pregnancy Center

The Pinellas County Pregnancy Center has been using the Living Free Godly Parenting classes for three years. The success of the pilot program at the Countryside location opened the door for the classes to be taught at all three Centers.

The facilitators were trained using the Living Free Video Training and after attending the training the couples were ready to facilitate the Godly Parenting classes. Many strong friendships have been created between the teachers and the clients during their time together. Facilitators were encouraged to offer the remainder of the teaching in their local churches and invite the ladies to attend. This has been an excellent opportunity for the clients to receive the rest of this valuable teaching along with the good exposure to a church atmosphere. The hope of those at the Pregnancy Center is that they will keep attending the church and find the continued “family” support they need.

Periodically we ask the people who subscribe to Living Free Every Day® daily email devotions to tell us what they mean to them. Here are just a few of the many responses to our survey that we received:

  • I thank God for these devotions every morning! They seem to be right what I need to hear at the exact time. Keep them coming, they are a blessing to me.
  • Living Free Ministries is truly a blessing to all who want to be free, and realize that they need help. We all need someone. And the Living Free Ministries small groups truly are so helpful. Thank you for being a part of our lives! Thank you for the daily devotionals.
  • I have only been a Christian a short time and your daily devotional gives me a lot to think about and gives me ways to live my life as a Christian.
  • I read the devotions each morning. I often find them to be just what I need when I didn't know I needed them. Thank you.
  • Living Free devotions have been a huge part of my day! I have sent it to a number of friends and family and use it to minister to those needing encouragement. Thank you for sending them to me!
  • These devotions help me get through my day at work. I come in early and read my devotions FIRST. It helps me to have a better attitude and a great day at work!
  • The devotions definitely give me something to think about and to "hold onto" during the day. I enjoy them because they are short, to the point, and help me keep God and Jesus at the front and foremost part of my day. Thank you for sending them to me.
  • I look forward to the comfort, encouragement and insight I receive during and after reading your daily devotion, and sharing your devotion with other is a blessing.
  • Just when I think I can't go on I open my email and there is the inspiration and support that I need.
  • I thank God that I read this vital information every morning, for it helps govern my day. I quickly think back on what I read to help me through various situations. I tell you God is GOOD! There have been times I felt like throwing in the towel, but God sends me a word to tell me to hold on. I want to thank this organization for their support and obedience in Christ.
  • Your daily emails have helped me to recently come back to the Lord. I had been away for way too long.

The Living Free team is thankful for your comments

Jim Antonucci is the recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Living Free Ministry Award for outstanding ministry. Jim Antonucci has served his church, Faith Assembly, and led outreach in local prisons for over ten years. He has mentored facilitators and led groups in church, prisons and many other settings. His amazing wife, Mary Anne, has served selflessly by his side.

Dr. Lee was deeply touched while visiting with people affected by Jim's ministry. One grateful participant commented, "This ministry has opened my eyes to what 'true' faith is. I cannot tell you the changes this ministry has made for me in the practice of my Christian faith."

Jim's passion for outreach is evident to everyone around him, including coworkers. His Pastor remarked to Dr. Lee, "Brother Jim has been doing Turning Point for a number of years now. It is a passion for him and he has done this ministry in an exemplary manner for that time. He continues to look for appropriate venues to facilitate Turning Point into the community with the conviction that the curriculum facilitates new life in Christ. It [the award] is an appropriate thank you for his tireless efforts."

Insight in Lithuania

Living Free is making incredible progress in Lithuania. Since the first seminar in 2001, the participants quickly began to use LF principles in their churches, communities, and Teen Challenge.

In coffeehouses, facilitators share questions from the workbooks, discuss answers, share testimonies, and invite participants to the Teen Challenge program where Insight is the first group offered. The directors say that in this group people encounter God, come to Christ, and understand what it means to be transformed by God's power.

Teen Challenge Lithuania also conducts annual Insight groups for staff members. This encourages the staff to stay spiritually healthy, deal with personal problems, and avoid burnout. An added benefit is that any staff person is trained and prepared to lead a group.
