Just in the last year Jeff Arp, Director of Teen Challenge of the Midlands Urban Center in Des Moine, Iowa, has been developing a non-residential component to their residential ministry. The residential program has been using the Living Free material in weekly support groups for people on probation. This Living Free community-based effort, called Lifeline Connection, has led to discipling people in the Word of God who would not or could not go into a long-term program. The following is a testimony from Jeff:
"This past week we had a milestone. Through our relationships, another couple started coming to Lifeline Connection and meeting with me for personal mentoring. My intention was to use the Life-Plan to help him overcome some life-controlling problems but we didn’t get very far into that process until we had a powerful Lifeline Connection meeting a couple of weeks ago and God began to reveal some things and God also used the other members of the group to share some things. As a result of that meeting, we had a man check into the Teen Challenge program at Colfax this week. I don’t believe that would have probably happened if it weren’t for the relationships that developed through Lifeline Connection."
Wow, what a great example of how the support group helped this man come to the realization of his need for further help. To God be the glory! To learn more about how you can start Living Free support groups in your church or community, please contact us at

2012 Outcomes Research Results |
Testimonies of changed lives are an inspiration. We receive stories of God's life-changing power through Living Free groups almost every day. God has been so faithful to set the captives free through His Word, His Spirit, and His people coming together to form a community of healing and restoration.
Although the testimonies are forever motivating, the stastics can either confirm the testimonies or dispute them. Our recent round of research has once again confirmed God's power and ability to change a life. This year, we included our community-based effort called Lifeline Connection in the study along with churches and prison ministries. Check out the results by clicking here or on the picture above.
