Saved

Is there any good reason why you cannot receive Jesus Christ right now?
The Bible says: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved.” Romans 10:13

How to receive Christ:

1. Admit your need (that you are a sinner).
2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from
the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your
life through the Holy Spirit (receive Him as Savior and Lord).

What to Pray

Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins.
I am willing to turn from my sins.
I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as
my personal Savior.
I am willing, by God’s strength, to follow and obey Jesus
Christ as the Lord of my life.

The Bible says:

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in
his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

When we receive Christ, we are born into the family of God
through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who lives within
every believer.

This process is called regeneration or the new birth.

Share your decision to receive Christ with another person.

Next Steps

Dear Friend,

We are thankful that many people have been able to find freedom from problems that hold them back from a full and productive life in Christ–problems such as negative attitudes, emotions, relationships, behaviors, and addictions.

Living Free focuses on discipleship that is based on God’s Word, delivered by God’s people, and empowered by God’s Spirit. The emphasis is on responding to God’s promises in ways that result in spiritual growth, as described in 1 Peter 1:8.

The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (NLT)

When people apply these principles, the results are remarkable, and the benefits extend to the entire family and community.

Consider this testimony from a missionary to Uganda:

“Living Free” has been used among death row, life sentence and other inmates with remarkable results; the conversion of prisoners (including Muslims), criminals asking forgiveness of their victims, and even kinder treatment on the part of prison guards have been in evidence over the years.

– Professor, Covenant College

The impact of Living Free is far-reaching because we work globally with churches and Christian ministries in many countries. The photos on this page represent only a glimpse of how God is using the reproducible Living Free ministry model across the United States and around the world.

Together, with God’s help we plan to reach millions more. Would you please consider a gift to Living Free today?

  • Testimony from Rwanda

God does heal the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Read the following testimony we received today regarding today's Living Free Every Day devotion provided by Living Free ministries.

"Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you so much for the message of forgiveness. Jesus Christ recommend us to forgive if we want to be forgiven. For us Rwandans, we are experiencing forgiveness and now we are free from the bondage of unforgiveness. When you forgive, even physically, you are released. I am telling you this because I have forgiven those who killed my parents and relatives. But, ask to be led by the Holy Spirit who will enable you to forgive those who sin against you."

    Blessings,

    Jean de Dieu
