Thoughts for Today
Dear friends, do you think you'll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, "Good morning friend! Be clothed with Christ! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!" and walk off without providing so much as a coat or cup of soup where does that get you? Isn't it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense? James 2:14-17 MSG
Regular exercise (at least a half-hour session of aerobic exercise three or four times a week) is important. Balanced and nutritious meals are needed three times a day and from eight to nine hours of sleep each 24 hours are essential.

Handling Loss and Grief: How to Face Losses in Life and Grieve Christianly by Raymond T. Brock, Ed.D. As a person goes through this group they will be able to identify what the Bible has to say about handling the losses of life. To grieve is human; how to grieve Christianly is supernatural. It requires us to invite the Holy Spirit to guide us through the grieving process. This study also provides guidance in the use of Scripture to help the grieving. It offers biblical coping methods for facing loss and comfort to those who have faced loss.
